This is the risk assessment for my film; it is essential to have
a risk assessment. Many film companies fear trade unions that work as an
insurance for those who wish to sue film companies for breaching the risk
assessment. It is a document given to everyone involved with the production,
this is from the bouncers and runners to the cast and crew, it helps with many
things such as ensuring that everyone is safe and they know what the risks are
which are involved with the film. My risk assessment was done knowing that
although it isn't like the real thing I have to treat it as if it is.
Considering the props in each scene we have put together potential hazards that
might occur, and then what controls we will use to avoid this happens. This way
if any accidents happen then we can present this risk assessment as a cover for
the protection of our film.
