One of our locations, which are also
the location in the opening scenes, is going to be a dinning room in my
neighbor’s house. I have decided to use this as one of our locations because it
is suitable for the flow of our plot, and as my characters will all be of a
wealthy background from the socio economic of C2. It is suitable for them to
have dinner in a dinning room rather than just the kitchen etc. The character
to the right is the main character of my short film. This character who I
have photographed sitting on the dinning table is portraying her role as the
mother.
She will also be narrating the film, The picture of the dining table is where my characters will be sitting for the first scene, where they will be conversing.
The next location is St.Marks Church cemetery where we have the dad leaving the cemetery of his supposedly dead wife, and walking home. The mum shows up behind him and she follows him. I've chosen to make this one of my locations because at night it looks really eerie. I plan to film at night because the entire film is dark and the story is about darkness, also I’d like to get a lot of shadows from the streetlights, especially when the mum walks behind dad.
My last location will be in an off license shop where the daughter character will hang herself, I've chosen this location because there is a room with a lot of clogged items which makes it look unhealthy and I’d like her to be in an environment like that, as her life almost reflects it.
