Unit 1 funding

When it comes to movies being created they are usually founded so that why the creators of the movie have money to spend so that they can create the movie with the money needed in order to make the best as possible. This money goes into hiring people to help with the creation of the movie along with buying equipment so that the movie can have it needs. Theses’ equipment can range from make up, cameras, setting and props.

These movies can be founded in ways such as kickstarter.com, which are gained from the public.  An example of an successful show that was crowd funded was Veronica Mars.  If enough money is provided then the creator may take that money gained from the citizens and promise to create the movie with the people of people around the world.

Movie creators may also look to Hollywood  institutions to help with funding the movie which being worked on together.  This isn't at a free cost as companies  such as Dream works, Warner Bros gets part of the movie money as they helped fund the movie in the first place.

The most realistic way of rising money is by advertising your creation, which you need help on. This advertisement can raise awareness for the public.  Channel four and ITV etc gain funding for their programmes through advertising.

The BBC gain funding through a license fee from anyone who owns a TV in the UK.This is roughly £145 per year, so they can make TV shows, radio shows and have a website.
