Production Schedule

This allows us to manage our time. Why is time management so important when filming? Time management is important because there is a limited amount of time in a day, there are only 24 hours in a day therefore planning ahead and managing time is crucial when filming as it allows different aspects of the production to be delegated to a certain time therefore you can follow a certain time table and not be confused. Also time management helps you prioritise things which are important first, therefore more the filming stage may be more of a priority than the editing stage. In order to execute a successful edit you need a good film which comes before it. Also, your team members have a clear prospective of times and days where they have to be there for filming which makes the whole procedure clear and quick cut.

The next document is our cast list. This is important because it clearly shows what characters will act in our film. For our short film we have a total of three actors, although I have organized for more, some were unable to make Monday's shooting so I had to cut it to only three characters in the end. The props we need are also listed on here, this also helps show

The next document is what is known as a call sheet, this is given to all the cast on the individual days that they're going to be needed for filming. The call sheet is important for many reasons; this includes keeping the actors in one place and that they know where and what time they're needed. For example I only need certain characters for specific scenes and some for others. This makes it harder for me to establish with them when they're needed so by having a call sheet, it is much more clearer for them.
